DEFRA, The Department for Environment, Food & Rural Affairs included wood burning stoves in their 2019 Clean Air Strategy, with the aim of ensuring manufacturers improved the performance and efficiency of their stoves.
All of our ECO 2022 multi-fuel stoves are DEFRA approved. They are highly efficient, superior stoves for burning wood in a smoke control area. Look out for the Eco 2022 logo complemented by the HETAS and DEFRA registrations.

The Panamera ECO, Panamera ECO Supreme and Savona ECO stoves are constructed of steel for contemporary styling and efficient heat projection, with the rest of the ECO 2022 range constructed of cast iron for durability and maximum heat.
The fitted large glass picture windows all have an airwash system to maintain optimal viewing of the flames – and ECO 2022 Stoves all come with a Lifetime Warranty from Capital Fireplaces.
All of our Ecodesign Compliant stoves have an energy rating of A or better.
