Stove Industry Alliance (SIA)
Over recent years, the Stove Industry Alliance (SIA) have been working closely with DEFRA to ensure the creation of EcoDesign ready stoves continues apace. These eco stoves are designed and manufactured in order to help lower air pollution.
Independent tests carried out for the SIA have shown Ecodesign Ready Stoves reduce emissions by 90% compared to an open fire and by 80% compared with an average 10-year-old stove.
