Stove Installation Harlestone

We were approached by the Thomason’s they had an unusual situation in that there new barn conversion had only the chimney in the lounge area and it finished in the loft space the builder had not completed it.

After examination I designed a flue adaptor from the existing builder’s chimney to twin wall flue pipe and continued through the slate roof with a lead slate storm collar and cowl the chimney is now complete and works well.

We then installed a Hampton multi fuel stove via a cover pipe and flue pipe in the lounge.

The Roberson’s live a small village called Creaton and there cottage chimney was suffering due to the age of the property and where experiencing smoke problems seeping through the stone work of the house walls, to repair this fault in the most cost effective way we re-lined there chimney with multi fuel stainless liner then attached it to the stove, inserted a register plate with in the chimney aperture to make sure the heat from the stove only goes into the room and not wasted into the chimney and is now working to its maximum efficiency.

The Crammers have a 19th century cottage in Shutlanger that obviously used to have a brick built chimney but unfortunately the previous owners had removed to gain more space in the lounge area. This wasn’t a problem I designed an external twin wall flue system to the centre of the lounge to maximize space we drilled through the wall at the correct angle and terminated the flue system in accordance with the HETAS regulations the stove and flue has brought heat and comfort back to their lovely cottage.

With this particular bathroom install the goods where supplied by others and we oversaw the logistics of the removal of old sanitary ware. Then the job required full re-plastering to all walls ready for tiling, upgraded all the electrics then second fixed the new sanitary ware including the finishing touches of the accessories.

Multi-Fuel Stove Installation in Kislingbury Northampton

Multi-Fuel Stove Installation in Kislingbury NorthamptonWe were approached by Mr. & Mrs. Brown who were recommended to us by a previous customer. First they asked us to survey a gas fireplace that was already in place, they wished to uninstall it and move into another room. They then requested that the fireplace was adapted and lined for the addition of a Clearview Multi-fuel Stove.

To ensure a multi-fuel stove could be fitted, the fireplace was opened up to give the correct height and width for their chosen stove which they had purchased from a local retailer. The chimney was then tested and previous gas flue removed. Through our recommendation a 316 multi-fuel liner was installed by dropping it down from the top of the chimney and clamp in place with a pot hanger. This was to improve performance and safety of the chimney.

Multi-Fuel Stove Installation in Kislingbury NorthamptonThe fireplace was now prepared to be re-built to accommodate the stove by having the walls rendered and plastered. We then supplied and fitted a beautiful black granite hearth and lime stone surround which was part of the customer’s requirements during quotation.

The multi-fuel stove was then tested to ensure the chimney was drawing suitably and all the controls were in good working order.
Once the customer was satisfied with our work we supplied our HETAS certificate and data plate to complete.

Many thanks to Mr. & Mrs. Brown. We hope you enjoy your stove for many years.
